The mission of Community Access Partners of San Buenaventura (CAPS) is to serve the community as a dynamic telecommunications public forum, facilitating the exchange of ideas and information among residents, businesses and organizations through education and access to electronic media.

CAPS Digital Storytelling introduces teens to the exciting world of video production. The program provides a hands-on experience where kids learn to script, film, and edit their own digital stories. They will work together in teams of four to five with an adult instructor and assistant per group. Their work will be aired on CAPS Channel 6 and posted on the web.
CAPS Digital Storytelling Summer 2013 Classes will be held:
July 29th thru August 2nd Studio Week
August 5th thru August 9th Documentary/Commercial Week
August 12th thru August 16th Dramatic Video Week
Please complete the Registration Form and drop it by our Media Center at 65 Day Road, Ventura, CA.
Class Schedules
Reminder: Registration for classes starts the 1st business day of each month.
You can call or come by in person to register for any class.

Studio classes for May are scheduled for Saturday, May 18 and Saturday, May 25 @ 2:30PM.
Studio classes in June will most likely be cancelled due to excessive CAPS Productions in June.
Note: We require at least 5 students registered 3 days prior to the first Studio Class to warrant the classes.
CAPS Member Class Schedule Information
CAPS classes are offered to active members each month.
All members and potential members are required to attend an Orientation Class.
Orientation is on the 1st Thursday followed by the HD Camera class the 2nd Thursday
and Editing training on the 3rd Thursday.
We also have Studio classes held on two consecutive Saturdays during the month.
Class registration begins on the 1st business day of the month the class would be offered.
Registration can be completed by phone (805-658-0500) or in person at our media center.
